Having cut his teeth as a hired gun on Auckland's jazz and rock scenes separately, Doug weaves together seemingly disparate worlds of music, in songwriting and technique. His playing style is an eclectic synthesis of jazz manouche, Indian classical, Bluegrass and high voltage heavy metal.
